Medical Surgical Nurse

Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical/Surgical | 13-Week Contract

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical/Surgical for a 13-week contract at a modern, community-focused hospital in Northeast Oregon
. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident RN who can work independently while delivering high-quality patient care in a supportive team environment.

• Shift: Day Shift
• Schedule: 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 guaranteed hours)
• Start Date: Immediate
• EMR: Epic

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and pediatric patients in a Medical/Surgical setting
• Perform patient assessments, medication administration, and clinical documentation
• Collaborate with hospitalists and interdisciplinary care teams
• Respond effectively to patient needs with minimal supervision
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and best practices

Requirements

• Active RN license (state-compliant and in good standing)
• Minimum 3 years of recent Med/Surg or Acute Care experience
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (required)
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Flexibility to work every other weekend and holidays as scheduled
