Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg day shift position caring for both adult and pediatric patients in a modern facility.

• Work in a Med/Surg department of a newly built rural hospital in Northeast Oregon
• Patient population includes both adult and pediatric patients
• Day shift position with three 12-hour shifts per week, including every other weekend
• Team includes two or three other nurses and a full-time Hospitalist physician
• Agency nurses may be floated to other qualified departments as needed
• Primary duties involve comprehensive care of adult and pediatric Med/Surg patients
• Modern work environment with an emphasis on teamwork
• Local candidates are accepted
• Weekend coverage is required as part of the regular schedule

• Active OR RN license required at time of application
• Minimum of three years' RN experience required
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
