Job Description
American Traveler seeks an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech) with Oregon license, ARRT certification, and advanced procedural skills for interventional radiology and cardiology procedures.
Responsibilities- Work in an interventional radiology/cardiology setting
- Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures using fluoroscopic imaging equipment
- Shift is 06:30-15:00
- Utilize fixed fluoroscopy equipment, portable ultrasound, and IVUS
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team for patient care
- Support diagnostic and interventional procedures using advanced imaging and sterile techniques
- Demonstrate competence in radiation safety, sterile field maintenance, and hemodynamic monitoring
- Adhere to departmental protocols and regulatory standards
- Preferred qualifications include a BS in Radiologic Science or Medical Imaging and 3 years in interventional radiology or cath lab experience
- Certifications such as RCIS or NIH Stroke Scale are preferred
- Bilingual or English-Spanish speaking ability preferred
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Current Oregon State licensure issued by OBMI required
- Active ARRT certification and RT(R) designation required
- Current BLS required
- ACLS required within 6 months of hire
- Minimum 1 year experience in interventional radiology and/or cath lab managing fluoroscopy and scrubbing interventional cases
- Ability to provide age-specific, cultural, physical, and psychosocial patient care
- License required if applicable
