Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist specializing in OB imaging with an active Oregon license.
Responsibilities- Position is based in a diagnostic imaging department focusing on general, abdominal, OB/GYN, neurosonology, and small parts ultrasound procedures
- Day shift schedule, working from 8:15am to 6:45pm
- 13-week contract assignment
- Candidates may be required to float to other qualified departments as needed
- Perform ultrasound imaging and related procedures for OB/GYN, abdominal, neurosonology, and small parts
- Demonstrate anatomy for interpretation or intervention at the direction of a licensed practitioner
- Uphold medical ethics and exercise professional judgment in all procedures
- Provide patient care and recognize essential patient conditions for successful imaging
- Minimum of 3 years experience as an ultrasound technologist
- Graduate of a CAHEA-accredited sonography program or equivalent
- American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) certification or equivalent approved certification
- Current Oregon state license as an Ultrasonographer or Radiologic Technologist/Sonographer
- License required if applicable
