Join our team as a relief Medical Receptionist at Mirasol Family Health Center in Hermiston, OR. Be part of a healthcare organization committed to making a difference in the community. We are a leading community health center with over 40 clinics across Washington and Oregon, offering a wide range of services including medical, dental, pharmacy, and behavioral health.
We offer competitive pay ranging from $17.99 to $22.04 per hour, based on experience, with an additional 4% differential for bilingual skills.
Responsibilities include:
- Handling phone calls, greeting patients, managing logs, and providing translation services.
- Collecting patient data and maintaining records.
- Scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, assisting with billing, and responding to patient inquiries.
- Maintaining cash box and completing other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Preferred:
One year's experience as a clinic receptionist. - Bilingual in English/Spanish at level 9.
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and interact professionally with patients and staff.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare billing is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
