Position: Dentist - Arrow Dental (Hermiston)

This position is responsible for providing dental care and improving oral health for patients; ensures continued viability and success in accessing and treating; providing a positive experience in addressing their oral care needs. Providers are eligible to apply for the student loan repayment program.

Arrow Dental primarily serves Medicaid patients to help the community with the large population of Medicaid members that became Medicaid eligible due to the Affordable Care Act.

Clinic hours:
Monday-Thursday 7:30 am - 5:30 pm, possible Fridays.

Pay Range: $ to $ annually, depending on experience. Actual pay is based on qualifications. Applicants who do not exceed the minimum qualifications will only be eligible for the low end of the pay range.

Required Skills:

Licensed Dentist within the State of Oregon.

Nitrous endorsement.

Strong patient management skills.

Demonstrated management and leadership skills.

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Computer proficiency with dental practice management software.

Must have strong decision-making skills.

Ability to work with frequent interruptions in a fast-paced clinic environment.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and project a professional business image.

General Practice Residency or equivalent experience working with complex patient care is a plus.

Spanish skills are a plus.

Participate effectively as a team player.

Primary Functions:

Provide comprehensive dental services to patients.

Prioritize the patient's needs and treatment planning while educating the patient.

Perform duties and responsibilities managing a dental office to include, not only treating the patient, but maintaining patient records, personnel and practice management, and dental equipment maintenance.

Share in after hours on-call responsibilities.

Perform other duties as assigned.
