Overview

Base pay range: $16.00/hr - $23.00/hr this range is provided by Sam's Club. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Position Summary:

We are looking for people who take pride in their work to join our team. You help shape our member’s entire shopping experience by giving them a positive first and last impression. In the member assist – cart attendant role, you are responsible for ensuring members see a well-kept parking lot which includes helping members with their purchases, and ensure there are carts ready and available.

You will also assist our members helping them load their vehicles and support creating a great member experience. This means you are constantly on your feet and on the go. Rain or shine, sleet or snow, our members count on you.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain a positive attitude by smiling, greeting and thanking members
  • Provide exceptional customer service across the club as needed, answering questions
  • Maintain a clean, neat, and member-ready area
  • Assist members with purchases and transporting items; locate and organize merchandise; ensure availability of carts/flatbeds
  • Process member purchases and assist with payments according to company policies; utilize cash registers
  • Help with loading vehicles and support parking lot cleanliness
  • Resolve member issues and concerns; promote company products and services
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards; participate in related action plans
  • Complete work assignments by prioritizing tasks, collaborating with managers and coworkers, and adapting to feedback
