Production Operative - Vertical Baggers

We’re looking for Production Operatives to join our team at Avara Foods’ Grandstand Road site in Hereford. No prior experience is required – full training is provided, and you’ll earn a minimum of £505 per week.

40 hours per week on a rotational shift pattern:

• 05:00‑14:00 – Monday to Friday
• 14:00‑23:00 – Sunday to Thursday

The position is in a fast‑paced, noisy FMCG factory environment where hygiene standards are critical. You will work with short‑shelf‑life products that are refrigerated in some areas.

• Weigh, assemble and pack products ready for dispatch.
• Label, inspect and grade products.
• Manual handling, including lifting equipment and items up to 20 kg.

• Good level of English and basic numeracy skills.
• Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively.
• Attention to detail and a flexible attitude towards tasks.
• Experience in a production/manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential – training will be provided.
