The Role
Reporting to the Team Leader, you will play an instrumental part in achieving the required hygiene standards with the Hygiene team for Avara Foods. You will adhere to health and safety at all times and follow all tasks in line with food safety rules.
- Good level of English and basic numeracy skills.
- The ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively.
- Good attention to detail and a flexible attitude to tasks.
- Experience with in a production/manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.

A Little About Our Hereford SiteThe Hereford plant is our largest site and processes chicken products across two factory facilities, Grandstand Road and Yazor Road. Grandstand handles processing, whole bird production and portioning, with Yazor responsible for portioning and added value. Across the whole site approximately 1,500 people are employed and it processes 1.9m birds per week.
