About the Role

As an inclusive, forward‑thinking business, we take pride in our approach to Engineering across Avara Foods and are looking for a highly competent and motivated Engineer to join our maintenance team, based at our Hollybank site in Scropton, Derbyshire.
Purposeof the Role
As a Multi‑Skilled Engineer, you will be a key player in ensuring the consistent smooth running of factory machinery including planned maintenance and reactive repairs, along with continually looking for ways to improve future processes.
Your key responsibilities as a Multi‑Skilled Engineer will include:- Performing reactive breakdown repairs.
- Carrying out planned preventive maintenance.
- Recording all documentation accurately and on time.
- Improving equipment reliability, stamping out recurring faults.
- Ensuring “audit ready” records are kept.
- Previous experience as a multi‑disciplined Engineer.
- An electrical bias with sound mechanical knowledge.
- Relevant engineering qualifications or apprenticeship (BTEC & NVQ L3, HNC, HND).
- Previous experience within the food or FMCG industry would be beneficial.
4 on 4 off shift pattern. 05:00 - 17:00.
