Job Title: IT Systems Support

Hours: 37 per week

Location: Hereford (Hybrid)

Salary: Hoople Band £31,314 - £39,483 per annum

Contract: Fixed term until 30th June 2027

Hoople is looking for a customer-focused IT Systems Support specialist to join our Information Technology application support team.

• Support implementation of a new planning and regulatory services system for Herefordshire Council.
• Maintain the council’s legacy system during the transition and support Hoople’s ICT Service Management system.
• Work alongside customers to understand their requirements, deliver statutory duties and manage public services.
• Support customers in the use of corporate business and related software systems.
• Analyse business processes, contribute to decision‑making, continuous improvement and ensure fitness‑for‑purpose of supported systems.
• Configure supported systems and plan developments in line with ICT policies and procedures.
• Handle business‑as‑usual break/fixes, product enhancements and upgrades, liaise with software suppliers and provide support, advice and consultancy to customers.
• Produce essential technical documentation and deliver training to system users.
• Analyse data quality issues, produce reports and support data integrity.
