Interim Head of Service

Responsibilities

• Oversee complex, safeguarding and legal case challenges.
• Ensure compliance with the Care Act and related legislation.
• Oversee safeguarding enquiries, adhering to Making Safeguarding Personal principles.
• Collaborate with partners to deliver high-quality services.
• Oversee social work teams and ensure operational spend is managed and performance
• Undertake any duties commensurate with role
• Have good knowledge and skills in adult social work
• Work as part of the senior leadership team
• Support the teams through change management

• Qualifications:
  
  Registered Social Worker with professional qualification.
• Experience:
  
  Strong background in adult social work, safeguarding, legal frameworks, and team leadership.
• Skills:
  
  Excellent decision-making, interpersonal, and negotiation abilities.
