Join our dedicated team atThe Weir Nursing Home, part of a well-established, medium-sized group of care homes offering nursing, dementia, and residential care services.

Located in the beautiful city of Hereford, The Weir is home to up to30 elderly residents. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional, personalised carein a warm and supportive environment.

About the Role

AsClinical Home Manager, you will play a pivotal leadership role in theday-to-day runningof the home. You will have direct access to the Directors and be supported by a central team to ensure compliance with regulatory standards, clinical excellence, and overall operational success.

Your duties will include:
  • Ensuring high-quality, person-centred care in line with CQC and Ashberry Healthcare standards
  • Preparing, updating, and evaluating care plans tailored to individual residents
  • Leading, managing, and developing staff teams to deliver exceptional care
  • Overseeing recruitment, team performance, rotas, training, and professional development
  • Conducting regular audits to ensure governance, safety, and compliance
  • Building strong relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and the local community
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate who is:

  • ARegistered Nurse (RGN or RMN)with a validNMC pin
  • Experienced in care home management (previous Registered Manager experience is essential)
  • Passionate about delivering outstanding care
  • A strong leader with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledgeable of safeguarding, DoLS, and CQC standards
  • Skilled in written, oral, and IT communications
