Wehave an exciting opportunity to join our Adult Eating Disorders Team in Herefordshire. The position is permanent and is 0.4 WTE, 15 hours aweek.
Weare seeking a highly motivated, skilled, registered dietician who has either an interest and/or experience of working with eating disorders and/or mental health. The successful applicant will work within a well-established multi-disciplinary team offering specialist support for people living wit heating disorders.
The service is a small countywide eating disorder outpatient service that provides clinical management and psychological work for patients with eating disorders. Thepost holder will be based in Hereford but it is essential that applicants canmeet the travel requirement for the post. We can offer flexible and hybrid working arrangements. Training opportunities & supervision will be provided.

Accountable for designated caseload, working within an evidenced based dietary intervention planand care programme approach.
Assesses and manages nutrition risk effectively.
Workswith patients to identify dietetic goals as part of the overall multidisciplinary team plan.
Develops and implements individual and/or group dietetic interventions, in collaboration with the patients and MDT to achieve therapeutic goals.
Engages patients in dietetic related tasks and encourages them in a compassionate manner, toachieve their identified goals.
Monitors and evaluates dietetic treatment in order to measure progress and modifies the dietary intervention plan to ensure effectiveness of clinical interventions.
Provides reportson patients progress at clinical meetings and participates in the clinical decision-making process as part of the multidisciplinary team.
Provides advice,education and training to patients, carers and other healthcare staff involved in patients care.

Job responsibilitiesAccountable for designated caseload.
Assess and manage nutritional risk effectively in community settings.
Advise and liaise with inpatient setting such as local acute trusts and specialist ED collaborative.
Develops and implements individual and/or group dietetic interventions, in collaboration with the service user(s) and MDT to achieve therapeutic goals.
Monitors and evaluates dietetic interventions modifying them according to need.
Works within HCPC Code of Professional Conduct and Professional Standards, accountable for own professional practice including work delegated to others.
Works within occupational policies, procedures and protocols,using discretion as appropriate.
Participates in regular clinical supervision.
Recognise sown limitations and seeks advice and guidance from more experienced colleagues as appropriate
