Established in 1996, Martha Trust Hereford is a registered charity, providing lifelong care for people with profound and multiple learning disabilities in our 2 purpose-built nursing homes, Martha House and Sophie House, on the edge of the city of Hereford. Each home has 14 residents and a high staff to resident ratio, ensuring the highest standards of care.

We are looking for Care Assistants who want to make each day enjoyable for our residents. Duties will include some support with personal care needs, as well as activities; you could take your resident for a session in the hydrotherapy pool, have fun in the sensory rooms, take in craft work activities, attend music sessions, watch the footie and other sports on TV;
or pop into town shopping, or for a cup of coffee. When the weather is good, trips to the cinema, garden centre or other local attractions take place to make the most of each day.
Previous experience in a care home or healthcare setting would be advantageous. However, you do not need to have previous experience or qualifications work for us, as we will provide all the necessary training to enable you to care for the residents.

Hours:
Part-time (min 22.5 hours per week over 3 days) or full time roles available on a rota basis including weekends:
- early shift 07.00
-14.30 - late shift 14.00 - 21.30
