We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to provide high-quality care and assistance to individuals in various settings, including assisted living, nursing homes, and home care environments. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting clients with their daily activities, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. • Provide personalized care to clients with diverse needs, including elderly individuals and those with dementia or Alzheimer's.
• Assist with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility support.
• Administer medication following prescribed instructions and maintain accurate records.
• Support clients with meal preparation and feeding as required.
• Engage in behavior management techniques to promote positive interactions and emotional well-being.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation.
• Assist with light housekeeping duties related to client care areas.
• Support clients with mobility, including heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring safety at all times.
• Drive clients to appointments or outings when required, maintaining safe driving practices.
• Follow health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures when needed.
• Document care provided accurately in compliance with organizational policies.

• Previous experience in assisted living, nursing home environments, or home care is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of patient care practices, dementia care, hospice support, and behavior management techniques.
• Experience with medication administration and first aid certification is advantageous.
• Familiarity with caring for seniors or children in caregiving roles is beneficial.
• Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and perform physically demanding tasks as part of daily duties.
• Driving experience with a valid licence is preferred but not essential.
