Pay Rate: £28.40 per hour
Contract: Locum, 14 weeks
Hours: Full Time, 37 hours per week

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Social Worker to join the Adult Locality Team within Herefordshire Community Wellbeing. This 14-week locum assignment offers the chance to make a real impact within a fast-paced and rewarding community-based setting, where your contribution will be valued and supported.

Herefordshire Community Wellbeing is seeking motivated, confident, and dynamic Social Workers who are passionate about delivering high-quality adult social care. You must be registered with Social Work England and hold a relevant social work qualification. A strong understanding of current legislation is essential, and an interest in progressing towards Practice Educator, Best Interest Assessor, and/or Approved Mental Health Professional qualifications is highly desirable.

What you will do:
Carry out assessments and reviews, developing person-centred care plans for adults within the locality.

Work closely with individuals and their families to ensure coordinated, effective support.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals to maximise outcomes for service users.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislation and embed best practice into day-to-day work.

Provide guidance and support to less experienced colleagues, contributing to a culture of learning and development.
