The RoleThis is an exciting time to join the Highways and Public Realm team at Herefordshire Council.
We’re transforming how highways and public realm services are delivered across Herefordshire, bringing them back under direct Council control for the first time in years. What will you be doing?In this role you will be out and about, being our eyes and ears on the ground ensuring delivery and implementation of council capital funded and developer funded construction projects, making sure we get the highest quality work.
About You- Experience in acting as the Supervisor in relation to the NEC contracts or equivalent in the councils construction projects.
- Good working knowledge of road construction materials, specifications, standards, testing and construction processes.
- Experience of negotiating with Third Party Developers and liaison between multiple stakeholder.
- Salary range of £40,000 - £45,000.
- Enrolment in the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS)
