Engineering Project Manager

A FMCG manufacturing company are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Project Manager to lead exciting projects that will shape the future of manufacturing operations. Monday to Friday - Office hours with some flexibility due to project management.

Salary £45,000 to £55,000 plus Benefits

• Conduct Safety & Operability Reviews for all projects, ensuring compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental standards.
• Develop project objectives by reviewing proposals and plans, and collaborating with management to align goals.
• Manage project specifications by studying design requirements, completing technical studies, and preparing cost estimates.
• Monitor project schedules, resolve issues, and coordinate activities to ensure timely delivery.
• Control project costs by approving expenditures and administering contractor contracts.
• Maintain compliance with legal requirements and uphold product safety standards, including HACCP and allergen considerations.

• A degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience gained through an apprenticeship.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, or FMCG operations.
• Expertise in project management, including design skills, process improvement, and safety management.
• Proficiency in CAD, CAD/CAM, and circuit design, with a keen eye for technical documentation.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate and deliver results.
