Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join our client’s dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will lead the quality assurance efforts, ensuring products consistently meet the highest standards and exceed customers’ expectations.
Responsibilities- Oversee a team of Shift Quality Controllers and ensure effective implementation of quality control procedures.
- Identify and resolve quality issues through root cause analysis, implementing corrective and preventative actions.
- Manage the customer service process, promptly addressing and resolving quality‑related concerns.
- Review and continuously improve quality check procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 standards.
- Champion the 8D problem‑solving methodology and lead the in‑house 8D program.
- Provide technical expertise and support for new product introductions and engineering changes.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and process optimisation within the team.
- Proven experience in Production Quality Engineering, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
- Detailed understanding and hands‑on experience with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 quality management systems.
- Expertise in applying Six Sigma principles and tools for effective problem‑solving.
- Strong customer service orientation and ability to build and maintain relationships with external customers.
- Excellent analytical and decision‑making skills, balancing customer and business needs.
- Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and using metrological equipment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and manage a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
