We are seeking an articulate and engaging GCSE English Language Tutor to support a student in Hereford . We are looking for a specialist who can help bridge the gap between "reading the text" and "analysing the craft."

️ The Role

Hours:

2 hours per week.

Location:

In‑person, Hereford.

Key Focus:
Improving creative writing, mastering non‑fiction analysis, and refining SPaG (Spelling, Punctuation, and Grammar) for maximum marks.

Requirements

Proven Experience:

Extensive experience delivering GCSE English Language tuition with a focus on exam technique.

Strategic Thinker:
Ability to teach students how to "explode" a quotation and structure high‑mark responses (e.g., PEEL/PETAL paragraphs). Compliance: A current Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is essential.

Reliability:
Someone who can commit to a consistent weekly schedule.
