This is a part-time hybrid role for a Quantity Surveyor, based in Herefordshire. The Quantity Surveyor will oversee cost estimation, budget management, and financial control for construction projects. Responsibilities include preparing cost plans, managing tendering processes, and ensuring project costs align with budgets. Collaborating with the construction team and subcontractors and maintaining compliance with industry standards are a key components of this role.

• Proficiency in cost estimation, budgeting, and financial management for construction projects
• Skilled in tendering, procurement processes, and value engineering
• Familiarity with construction contracts, legal compliance, and managing subcontractor agreements
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing on-site and remote tasks
• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred
• Experience using quantity surveying software tools and strong IT skills
• Knowledge of the Herefordshire property market is a plus
