Job Overview
Bio-Rad is seeking a Production Assembler who will work in a controlled environment, utilizing personal protective equipment and assisted breathing air. The role involves a variety of responsibilities, including receipt and verification of materials, calibration and operation of equipment, dispensing or packaging dry and/or wet products, assembly of components and kits, performing visual inspections, calculations, and completing required documentation by following Good Documentation Practices.

- Packages finished products.
- Calibrates/ operates equipment.
- Codes and applies labels.
- Seals bags and pouches.
- Dispenses solutions.
- Assembles components and kits.
- Fill out required documentation (work orders, procedures, logs).
- Special assignments may include processing rework, scrap and waste disposal, other duties as assigned.
- Education/
Work Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Ability to follow comprehensive written instructions, to work independently as well as in a team environment, and to perform basic math including use of fractions and decimals where applicable.
- Basic computer skills in applicable programs.
- Flexibility with schedule with M-TH 10 hours per day, 1st shift or 2nd shift and able to work overtime on weekends as needed.
- Stand, stoop, bend, kneel, walk, reach, grip and lift and carry at least 15 lbs on a regular and repetitive basis and use equipment such as pallet jack and lift assist for heavier materials.
- Involves use of close vision, color vision, depth perception and adjusted focus.
- Read, interpret, understand, carry out, and communicate instructions and correspondence both orally and in writing. With knowledge of GMP, ISO requirements.
- Works in production environments. Noise level is generally moderate. Wears personal protective equipment as needed. Follow guidelines with use of Personal Protective equipment including use of hood with assisted breathing air.
- May work near moving mechanical parts, and handle chemicals.
- Knowledge of all safety policies and procedures and handling of goods and/or hazardous materials.
- Comply with policies, guidelines and regulatory requirements per Company.
This position must be based in Hercules, California and requires the employee to be located within commuting distance of the office.

CompensationThe estimated base salary range for this position is $37,000 to $51,000 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
