Production Manager, Quality Engineering, Operations Manager
Overview
The Production Manager is a dynamic leader who oversees manufacturing operations for the clinical diagnostics consumables site. They will provide expertise, vision and leadership for manufacturing. In this fast-paced role, the Production Manager will drive quality, process efficiency, and manufacturability while fostering a culture of innovation and ownership. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong leadership, mentors team members and leads by example to ensure operational excellence and continuous improvement.
HowYou'll Make An Impact
- Lead Manufacturing Operations:
Oversee daily production activities to ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance with organizational goals. - Ensure Quality & Regulatory Compliance:
Maintain adherence to GMP, FDA, and GMED standards; validate processes and documentation. - Drive Process Improvements:
Implement Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize workflows and reduce waste. - Strategic Planning & Execution:
Align manufacturing objectives with company strategies; contribute to long-term operational planning. - Modernization & Safety:
Upgrade processes and equipment to improve throughput and safety; enforce compliance with all safety regulations. - Team Leadership & Development:
Foster a culture of innovation and accountability; mentor team members and support professional growth. - Issue Resolution:
Identify and resolve production, personnel, quality, and safety issues promptly to minimize disruptions. - Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with QA, QC, EH&S, Planning, HR and Engineering teams; engage with auditing agencies to ensure compliance.
- Education:
Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Operations Management or related field. - Work Experience:
7-10 years minimum experience in supervisory/managerial capacity. - Proven track record of leading teams in a GMP/FDA/GMED regulated environment.
- Demonstrated skills in planning, organizing, and coordinating varied and complex operations.
- Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or similar methodologies.
- Commitment to safety, quality standard and plant policies.
- Familiarity with ERP/SAP.

CompensationThe estimated base salary range for this position is $137,600 to $189,200 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
