Senior Financial Planning Analyst

Base pay range

$50.00/hr - $64.00/hr

In this high-visibility role, you’ll support Director- and VP-level leadership by delivering accurate reporting, insightful analysis, and strong financial guidance. You will own key aspects of forecasting, budgeting, month-end close, and headcount planning—making a direct impact on the success of our R&D organization.

• Budgeting & Forecasting:
  Support the Long-Range Plan and Annual Operating Plan. Drive accurate forecasting through quarterly updates and monthly rolling OPEX forecasts for R&D.
• Month-End Close:
  Prepare journal entries (accruals, reclasses, and R&D tax credit items) and ensure accuracy of CDG R&D financials.
• Reporting & Variance Analysis:
  Create and maintain reports to explain financial performance, delivering actionable insights through variance analysis.
• Headcount Management:
  Maintain the hiring funnel, providing a rolling forecast of headcount and employee-related expenses.
• Ad Hoc Analysis:
  Provide financial insights and analysis for business partners with minimal supervision.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 6+ years of FP&A experience; multinational public company experience required (Big Four background strongly preferred)
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, with expertise in accruals, pre-payments, and P&L impact
• Proficiency in SAP and Oracle EPM strongly preferred; advanced Excel skills required
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and project management skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to “tell the story” behind the data and advise business partners
