Sous Chef - Full Time

Salary:
Up to £37,000, dependent on experience

Hours:

40 hours per week
(Early, mid and late shifts including weekdays, weekends and bank holidays)

Are you passionate about great food and ready to take the next step in your culinary career? We're looking for a talented and motivated Sous Chef to join the kitchen team at a prestigious private members' club, where quality, creativity and exceptional service are at the heart of everything we do.

The Role

As Sous Chef, you'll play a key role in supporting the Head Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen. You'll lead by example, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, hygiene and teamwork, while helping to inspire, train and develop the brigade.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven chef who thrives in a busy, high-standard environment and is eager to grow within a professional and supportive team.

What We're Looking For

You'll be someone who brings passion, leadership and consistency to the kitchen, with:

Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a busy kitchen

A genuine passion for hospitality and fresh, high-quality food

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, train and support your team

A track record of delivering exceptional dishes under pressure

Excellent communication and organisational skills

A team-focused approach and commitment to maintaining high service standards

Experience managing costs, budgets and stock control

Solid knowledge of EHO and Health & Hygiene regulations

Ambition to learn, develop and progress your career

Good written and verbal communication skills

Proof of the right to work in the UK
