Porter/Cleaner – Townlands Community Hospital – Part‑time (25 hours per week). Working on a two‑week rolling rota covering Monday‑Sunday, with a shift every other weekend.
Responsibilities- Collection and delivery of post and parcels within the site.
- Collection of dirty linen. Distribution of clean linen.
- General daily cleaning duties within the site/hospital.
- Collection of refuse and other waste, ensuring that any waste bins in outside public areas are regularly emptied.
- Keeping stores and medical gas compound clean and tidy and kept secure at all times, reviewing medical gas trolleys and delivering medical gas to the relevant departments on request.
- Working as part of the Facilities team to provide a comprehensive porter service across the Trust.
- Appointment to this post is subject to the Trust receiving satisfactory references covering 3 years of employment or study. Please ask your referees to respond promptly to reference requests.
