MET Technician

We are working on behalf of our client to recruit an experienced MET Technician for their well-established, independent bodyshop located in Henley-on-Thames. Competitive basic salary of up to £50,000 Predominantly Monday to Friday work, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with an early finish at 3:30 pm on Fridays No weekend working required Full mechanical and bodywork duties Support for further qualifications, including ATA, if desired Excellent in-house progression prospects Friendly, close-knit working environment within an independent owned bodyshop Duties:
Perform comprehensive mechanical and bodywork repairs on allocated vehicles Conduct dismantling, fault-finding, and diagnostic work efficiently Re-assemble vehicles with new parts, ensuring quality and safety standards are met Conduct inspections and testing to confirm vehicle condition Identify faults or issues requiring attention or safety consideration Conduct road tests on vehicles in a safe and legal manner, ensuring roadworthiness Maintain accurate documentation of work completed and communicate effectively with team members Candidate Specification:
Proven experience as a MET Technician within an automotive environment Strong attention to detail and quality awareness Excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask effectively Knowledge of dismantling, fault-finding, and diagnostic procedures Possession of full qualifications relevant to MET work ATA qualification is advantageous but not essential Ability to work well within a team and follow safety procedures This MET Technician opportunity is ideal for someone seeking career progression within a respected independent bodyshop.
