KEY PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
This role is focused on the development, optimisation, and ongoing enhancement of our Priority ERP system. As a key member of the Business Systems team, you will take ownership of ERP‑related projects and deliver solutions that improve business processes, data integrity, and operational efficiency. Working closely with Business Systems, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and other departments, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining customisations, reports, workflows, and integrations within Priority ERP to support business growth and continuous improvement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Design, develop, and implement enhancements within the Priority ERP system
- Build and maintain:
- Form Triggers
- Procedures
- Reports
- Documents (HTML and Word formats)
- Form Interfaces
- Additional fields within tables and forms
- Analyse business requirements and translate them into scalable ERP solutions
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve data or process‑related errors
- Ensure developments meet agreed project timelines and quality standards
- Document all developments clearly, including field‑level help documentation
- Record and track all development work within the Asana project management system
- Support system upgrades, testing, and change management processes
- Provide ongoing support and optimisation of existing ERP functionality
- Strong knowledge of Priority ERP functionality, architecture, and development tools
- Proven experience designing, configuring, and customising forms, procedures, and reports within Priority
- Experience working with Priority development language (SQL / 4GL)
- Strong understanding of relational database concepts and table structures
- Ability to gather and interpret business requirements and translate them into technical ERP solutions
- Solid understanding of ERP data flows and process mapping
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to document technical changes clearly and communicate effectively with non‑technical stakeholders
- Experience developing APIs, webhooks, and system integrations within Priority
- Advanced SQL database administration skills and knowledge
- Advanced reporting capabilities (e.g. Power
BI, Qlik) - Experience with Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Qlik, or similar)
- Understanding of ERP best practices across Finance, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing
- Ability to manage ad‑hoc development requests and respond to urgent system issues
- Familiarity with version control, structured release processes, and change management

- 37.5 hours of work per week. Monday to Friday, 9-17:30.

- Working autonomously and in a team of 5
- Probation process 4 months standard
- Notice period – 2 months up to 2 years’ service increasing to 3 months from 2 years.
