Experienced Architectural Technician
Location:
Henley on Thames
Salary: £38-45,000 DOE

The practice is recognised for producing bespoke homes that combine classical architectural principles with modern construction standards. Working across both urban and rural settings throughout the UK, the studio delivers projects that emphasise craftsmanship, material quality, and meticulous detailing.
The team collaborates closely with clients, consultants, and contractors to translate thoughtful design into technically precise construction information, ensuring each project achieves a refined and enduring architectural outcome.

Ideal Candidate
Highly experienced Architectural Technician with a strong background in traditional or vernacular high-end residential architecture
Deep understanding of classical detailing, traditional materials, and construction methods
Strong technical ability with excellent attention to detail and a passion for craftsmanship
Proficient in AutoCAD or Vectorworks
Solid understanding of UK planning processes and Building Regulations
Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a design-led team
Experience working across a range of UK projects in both city and countryside settings is advantageous
Experience with heritage buildings, listed properties, conservation projects, bespoke joinery, stonework, or traditional construction techniques would be beneficial
Daily Duties
Produce detailed technical drawings and comprehensive construction packages for high-end residential projects
Develop and coordinate planning, Building Regulations, and technical construction information
Prepare detailed sections and plans demonstrating strong knowledge of traditional and vernacular architecture
Liaise with architects, consultants, contractors, and clients throughout the project lifecycle
Ensure all drawings and technical documentation comply with current UK Building Regulations and industry standards
Support projects from concept stage through to construction, maintaining quality and accuracy in technical delivery.
