Job Description

TPF Recruitment, the Southeast's leading accountancy practice recruitment agency, is recruiting an Accounts Manager to join a highly reputable, quality firm of chartered accountants based in the Henley area. The firm is fast‑growing and successful, and the role offers exposure to complex, high‑value work with prestigious national and international clients. You will have autonomy, direct client contact, and the opportunity to oversee a small team.

• Manage your own portfolio of clients, reporting to the Directors.
• Review accounts, prepare accounts, consolidations, corporation tax returns and personal tax returns for your clients.
• Act as the first point of call for clients.
• Support clients with outsourced Finance Director‑level services and complex corporate and personal tax planning.

• ACA/ACCA, with approximately 3+ years post‑qualification.
• Experience in a mid‑tier firm with complex/high‑value cases.
• International experience is an asset.
• Conventional reporting directly to the Directors.
• Competent in reviewing complex accounts and consolidations to a high standard for final director review.
• Able to run meetings with clients.
• Strong knowledge of corporation tax and VAT.

• Possibly an AAT learner, or studying ACCA, with 2–4+ years of practice experience preparing accounts, tax and other client responsibilities.
• Looking for a challenging, long‑term career move at an Accounts Semi‑Senior level in a growing firm of chartered accountants.

• £50,000 – £65,000, dependent on experience and background, negotiable.
