Turbomachinery Engineer

Destinus R&D Team is searching for experienced engineers to take up the position of Turbo machinery Engineer. This is a key position for the development of our next generation of turbo machinery solutions. Do you want to help us drive the world’s energy transition and reduce emissions? • Mechanical design of gas turbine components and assemblies
• Perform FEA simulations and basic calculations to support the design process
• Participate and/or lead technical investigations
• Set up and qualify suppliers and manufacturing processes in collaboration with our supply chain
• Setting up and managing development projects and tasks
• Mentoring of junior engineers
• Providing technical support to Supply chain, Operations and Field Service

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar with an MEng, MSc, or equivalent
• Working knowledge in mechanical design of gas turbine components
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Software skills including Solid Works or equivalent
• Experience with FEA
• Knowledge about high-temperature materials is an advantage
• Knowledge about manufacturing processes is an advantage
• Experience from lifetime assessments of gas turbine components is an advantage
