This role is responsible for managing a diverse fleet of vehicles, ensuring compliance with regulations, optimizing operations, and enhancing overall fleet efficiency. This role requires a strong leader with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage resources effectively across various locations.
ResponsibilitiesFleet Management:
Oversee the daily operations of fleet, including vehicle procurement, maintenance, and disposal across multiple states.
Compliance:
Ensure all fleet operations comply with federal, state and local regulations, including safety, environmental, and licensing requirements.
Budget Management:
Develop and manage the fleet budget, monitor expenses and discuss/implement cost saving initiatives.
Performance Optimization:
Analyze fleet performance data to identify areas for improvement, implement best practices, and enhance operational efficiency.
Vendor Relations:
Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers for vehicle purchases, maintenance services and fuel management.
Reporting:
Prepare and present regular reports on fleet performance, maintenance schedules, and operational costs to senior management.
