Position: Maintenance Tech/Transportation (Full-Time) - Carolina Reserve of Hendersonville

Overview

Navion Senior Solutions is seeking a thorough Maintenance Technician/Transportation Coordinator to support the Maintenance Director with preserving the good condition and functionality of an assisted living community and to transport residents to appointments outside of the community with the community vehicle. The goal is to maintain the buildings and common areas in the best possible condition and to provide a safe and friendly travel experience for residents.

Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance tasks of great variety such as painting, HVAC installations, landscaping, and other related duties.
  • Maintain buildings and common areas in good condition and ensure safety and accessibility for residents and staff.
  • Provide safe and reliable transportation for residents to appointments outside the community using the community vehicle.
Qualifications
  • Facilities Maintenance experience in Senior Living, Hospitality or Multi-Family and some formal training in at least one of the following areas:
    Carpentry, Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC, Appliance Repair, Remodeling.
  • Ability to perform general maintenance repair needs at assigned communities, problem solve, plan, organize, communicate, and cooperate with others.
  • Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Exceptional customer service skills and strong communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of Commercial building codes and OSHA safety regulations.
  • Ability to follow instructions and to accept constructive criticism.
  • Willingness to seek out new methods and participate and be able to incorporate them into existing maintenance practices.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with an ability to multi-task and adapt in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to effectively follow written and oral instructions.
  • Must have a valid state driver’s license with a good driving record.
