Mr. Handyman is seeking experienced One-Day Bath Installers to partner with us as independent subcontractors for bathroom remodeling projects. This role focuses primarily on tub-to-shower conversions and one-day bath installations
, delivering high-quality workmanship and an exceptional customer experience.
We provide a steady pipeline of work, clear scopes, and professional support — you focus on installing great bathrooms.
Responsibilities- Complete one-day bath installations
, including: - Tub-to-shower conversions
- Shower and tub surrounds
- Acrylic wall systems and shower bases
- Perform demolition, installation, and finish work according to scope
- Ensure all work meets local building codes
, manufacturer specs, and Mr. Handyman quality standards - Maintain a clean, safe, and professional jobsite
- Communicate clearly with homeowners and project managers
- Complete jobs on schedule with minimal callbacks
- Protect customer property and respect occupied homes
- 3+ years of bathroom remodeling experience
, specifically one-day bath or similar systems - Proven experience with:
- Plumbing fixture installation
- Wall systems, trim, and waterproofing
- Must operate as a 1099 independent contractor
- Valid business license (where required)
- General liability insurance
- Workers’ compensation (or exemption, if applicable)
- Ability to pass background check
- Consistent, pre-sold jobs —
no selling required - Clear scopes of work and materials provided (if applicable)
