Mr. Rooter Plumbing & HVAC is seeking a skilled and customer-focused HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, repair, maintain, and install residential HVAC systems. This role is ideal for a technician who takes pride in quality workmanship, values honest communication, and wants to be part of a company that supports its field team with strong systems, training, and leadership.

• Diagnose and repair residential heating, cooling, and ventilation systems
• Perform routine maintenance and system inspections
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and airflow issues
• Clearly explain findings and repair options to homeowners
• Provide accurate recommendations without high-pressure sales tactics
• Maintain detailed service notes and documentation using Service Titan
• Follow all safety procedures and company standards
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance and service vehicle
• Participate in training and team meetings as required

• Minimum of 2 years HVAC service experience (residential preferred)
• EPA Certification (required)
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Professional communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift equipment and work in attics, crawlspaces, and confined areas

• Additional HVAC certifications or specialized training
• Experience with Service Titan or similar field service software
• Installation experience (not required but a plus)
