The role of the Client Relationship Manager is to develop and maintain relationships between our internal departments and external customers. You will work in a fast‑paced environment with talented and motivated colleagues, helping the Leadership Team with the most pressing business challenges. This candidate must have a proven track record for business development, building long‑term client relationships, and meeting sales and revenue goals.
The ideal candidate will have at least two years of landscape contract writing, upselling landscape needs, and diagnosing plant and lawn disease.
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients and key personnel within customer companies
- Working with all internal departments to ensure that all services are executed according to contract specifications, on budget, and according to schedule
- Carrying out client satisfaction surveys and reviews
- Negotiating contract renewal, drafting reports, and providing progress analysis
- Monitoring and providing support on the implementation of service agreements
- Working proactively with our established customer base to ensure retention of the current relationship and contract(s)
- Resolving customer inquiries regarding services
- Performing other activities as may be temporarily or permanently assigned
- Experience
Required:- Must have previous landscaping experience or equivalent to the field.
- Ability to manage external and internal business priorities.
- Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build rapport with customers
- Proven time management and prioritization skills in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficient in use of Microsoft applications – Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
- Education & Certifications
- Possess and maintain a valid Driver's License issued by a U.S. State or Territory.
- Work Environment:
- Comfortable working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
- Reliable transportation to the Hendersonville location
- Physical requirements:
- Ability to endure long periods of standing or walking and extended periods of bending, stooping, and lifting.
- Ability to lift 15–50 lbs. frequently and up to 90 lbs. occasionally.
