The Retail Associate ensures customers have a positive shopping experience. The Associate greets customers, maintains a clean work area, presents merchandise properly, and follows company best practices.
Essential Functions- Prioritise safety; maintain a safe and secure environment.
- Respectfully interact with customers and associates.
- Assist customers with merchandise and register operations.
- Respond promptly to customer service calls and issues.
- Represent and support the company brand.
- Perform cleaning tasks to keep the store neat and safe.
- Adhere to the company dress code.
- Perform daily sizing and recovery to maintain store standards.
- Expedite new merchandise to the sales floor urgently.
- Understand loss prevention and merchandise protection programs.
- Safeguard confidential information, cash, and merchandise.
- Follow Mark‑Out‑of‑Stock, cash‑handling, and other store policies.
- Maximise productivity by executing best practices efficiently.

- Effective communication with customers, associates, and leadership.
- Basic mathematical calculations common in retail.
- Use store equipment such as PDTs, registers, and PCs.
- Stand, walk, and move around the store for up to 100% of the work shift.
- Bend, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, and stoop regularly.
- Occasionally push, pull, and lift more than 25 pounds.
- Use janitorial equipment, rolling racks, ladders, and other supplies.
- Stockroom shifts may require pushing, pulling, and lifting more than 20 pounds.
