Overview
The Associate is responsible for completing in‑store food and non‑food demonstrations. The role includes acquiring and maintaining knowledge of the products represented, preparing, serving, and breaking down product, equipment, and supplies, intercepting consumers and demonstrating products in a professional manner, and maintaining an overall professional appearance consistent with job requirements.
Pay rate: $14.75‑$16.00 per hour
ResponsibilitiesPossesses the aptitude and ability to gain adequate knowledge of the products represented.
- Has desire and ability to proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to the consumer in a positive manner.
- Effectively communicates the features and benefits of the product.
- Prepares and serves food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives.
- Maintains a clean, sterile, and safe workstation using approved cleaning chemicals.
- Maintains a professional appearance consistent with the job requirements.
- Properly sets up and prepares the Event Table for execution.
- Achieves 100% execution on assigned work.
- Assists with preparation for client visits and completes audit corrections.
- Builds and maintains rapport with store personnel to effectively meet company and client objectives.
- Completes expense reports as per Company Policy.
- Accurately prepares and submits all online requirements on the same day as event execution.
- Accesses the internet, navigates company electronic systems, uses Microsoft Outlook, and views assigned documents including Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF forms.
This role is not expected to exceed more than 25 hours per week, although the company may adjust the role based on business or client needs.

QualificationsEducation/Experience
:
High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills
:
Proficient at using and navigating a personal computer or mobile device with applications and internal systems.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
:
Local food handler permit may be required.
Physical Demands
:
Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach overhead up to 65 inches, talk, hear, read instructions, stoop, kneel, squat, climb or step up ladders, balance, lift and carry up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds), push and pull a wheeled demonstration cart fully laden with appliances, supplies, and product, prepare foods and beverages using required appliances, and be in contact with cleaning supplies.

Work Environment
:
Retail store environment, limited travel.
Physical Appearance
:
Maintain a professional appearance and proper grooming. Specific retailer dress code requirements are included in training documents.

:
English is the primary language; bilingual skills may be required based on business necessity.
