Shift Lead

Overview

The Shift Leader supports the store management team’s daily operations of a Krystal restaurant. The role models Krystal’s Core Values and ensures compliance with company standards in product preparation, customer service, facilities maintenance, and financial accountability.

• Demonstrate Krystal Core Values while training, retaining, and recognizing A+ talent.
• Partner with management to execute the Performance Management process, ensuring employees are set up for success and held accountable.
• Drive a customer-focused culture by resolving customer issues and coaching staff to meet or exceed service standards.
• Coach, recognize, and hold team members accountable for core operational procedures using company systems.
• Ensure food safety standards are met through direct observation while running shifts.
• Collaborate with management to develop and implement restaurant-level plans and marketing initiatives.
• Execute cash/security, inventory, labor, and food control procedures during shifts and identify operational gaps.

• Minimum age of 21.
• Serv Safe certification required.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred with 1+ year of restaurant experience.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, overnights, and weekends.
• May be required to travel to other stores or meetings as business dictates.
• Strong customer focus, initiative, action orientation, and teamwork skills.

• Lift up to 70 pounds frequently.
• Carry products/boxes weighing no more than 70 pounds.
• Handle product preparation, stocking, and inventory consistently.
• Perform kneeling and lifting procedures safely.
