Job Summary and Qualifications

As an Advanced Patient Care Technician (PCT), you will be an important part of delivering compassionate, patient-centered care. Under the guidance of a registered nurse, you will perform advanced clinical tasks and help create a safe, welcoming environment where patients and families feel valued and respected.

  • Observe patients, document changes, and communicate them with the nursing team.
  • Help patients with daily needs (ADLs) such as eating, drinking, bathing, and moving safely.
  • Provide advanced care, including phlebotomy, telemetry monitoring, removing IV lines and catheters, and care for wounds.
  • Assist with supporting tasks like collecting lab samples and assisting with clerical duties to keep care running smoothly.
  • Anticipate patient needs, respond quickly, and help ensure a seamless and compassionate experience.
Qualifications
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS/CPR) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Eligible pathways include (CMT-BC) Cardiac Monitoring Technician — Board Certified, or (CNA) Certified Nursing Assistant, or (CPT) Certified Phlebotomy Technician, or (PHLEB) Phlebotomy Technician.
