• Directs all aspects of patient care to optimize safety and reduce medical errors.
• Demonstrates knowledge of standards of care for departments under control.
• Treats patients and families with respect and dignity, addressing psychosocial needs.
• Communicates clearly with physicians, staff, Director of Nursing, and administrative team.
• Coordinates and directs patient care to meet needs and follow hospital policy.

• Master s [Required]

• of Science in Nursing (MSN) or related field (if not yet obtained, employee must be enrolled within 1 year of hire date and completed within 5 years of hire date).
• Graduate from school of nursing

• 5+ years of previous experience in all aspects of acute care nursing and a minimum of two years of experience in a similar role [Required]

• Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
• American Board Genetic Counseling (ABGC) [Preferred]
• Nurse Executive Certification (ANCC-NE-BC) [Preferred]
