• Serves as shift charge person in the absence of department leadership, prioritizing work to ensure instrumentation and equipment availability.
• Ensures safe work practices for all employees, monitors staff use of PPE in decontamination area, and takes appropriate action in emergency situations.
• Participates in new employee orientation, on-the-job training, in-service education, and facility process improvement initiatives.
• Oversees and monitors supply and equipment inventory required for the department.
• Rotates assignments among various areas within the department, including decontamination, surgical tray assembly, sterilization processes, and equipment management.

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

Associate, High School Grad or Equiv (Required), Technical/Vocational School, Certified Registered Central Service Tech (CRCST) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
