Position: Med Tech (Part-Time)(1st Shift)(EVERY OTHER WEEKEND) - Laurel Park

Carolina Reserve of Laurel Park, a community of Navion Senior Living, located in Hendersonville, NC, is seeking Certified Medication Technicians to administer medication and provide resident care in our assisted living community. This part‑time position is on the 1st shift with every other weekend off. Team members can use the Tapcheck mobile app for instant wage access and support.

Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate a positive working relationship with residents, family members, and staff
  • Promote and protect residents’ rights and treat them with dignity and respect
  • Attend in‑service and education programs and obtain continuing education required by state regulations
  • Remain calm under stressful conditions
  • Maintain confidentiality of residents’ information in compliance with HIPAA guidelines
  • Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with the community dress code
  • Document care accurately and descriptively
  • Report all changes in a resident’s condition to the supervisor promptly
  • Complete work schedules and tasks in accordance with community policies and procedures
  • Operate equipment safely using only those you have received training for
  • Follow infection control precautions and practices during all activities
  • Demonstrate knowledge of fire and emergency procedures and report all safety violations
Requirements
  • High school diploma
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Successful completion of a state‑approved Medication Aide course
  • Personal Care Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant certification required
  • Clear written and oral communication skills in an interdisciplinary care setting
  • Ability to work safely in a senior‑care environment
  • Team‑oriented mindset and strong collaboration skills
