UNC Health Pardee is seeking a full-time Adult Psychiatrist to join PATHS at Pardee, our hospital-based inpatient psychiatric program. This is a 100% inpatient opportunity within a 21-bed, short-term adult psychiatric unit that serves as a dual-diagnosis addiction treatment center, providing comprehensive care for patients with mental health disorders and substance use disorders.
Position Overview
The psychiatrist will provide inpatient psychiatric care in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment focused on high-quality, patient-centered treatment.
Practice Highlights:
- 100% inpatient role
- 21-bed adult psychiatric unit
- Dual-diagnosis program treating mental health and substance use disorders
- Hospital-based practice within UNC Health Pardee
Multidisciplinary Care Team
You will work alongside a highly skilled and supportive team that includes:
- Medical Director
- Registered Nurses
- Recreation Therapists
- Master’s-prepared Social Workers
Candidate Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Adult Psychiatry
- Addiction Medicine subspecialty preferred
