* Job Description:

** - Join a dynamic team dedicated to providing exceptional patient care in the imaging department! - Perform a wide variety of routine and advanced imaging procedures with a focus on patient safety and comfort.

- Collaborate with fellow imaging technologists to facilitate smooth and efficient patient flow.

- Demonstrate flexibility by working different shifts and at various campuses as needed or required.

- Troubleshoot basic maintenance, participate in quality assurance, and resolve issues related to image processing and archiving systems.

- Participate in ongoing education and stay updated with safety protocols and technical advancements.

- Adhere to and maintain required imaging competencies as outlined by management.

- Exhibit strong behavioral and communication skills that align with the organization’s mission and values.

- Adapt patient assessment and care methods to meet the diverse needs of each individual served.

- Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and standards set by regulatory agencies.

- Perform examinations/procedures to assist in patient throughput under the scope of licensure and competencies.

- Take charge of scanning and storing completed exams correctly in PACS.

- Follow PACS downtime procedures as a PACS Superuser and escalate any issues to the PACS administrator as necessary.

- Troubleshoot and report equipment malfunctions to the Director/Manager and Biomedical personnel.

- Embrace additional duties as assigned to enhance team performance.

* Job Requirements:

**
- Education:

Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or an equivalent program.

- Experience:

Preferred 1 year of CT experience in a Hospital or Clinical setting.

- Skills:

Basic computer proficiency required.

- Licenses/Certifications:

- Radiography (R) by ARRT;
Nuclear Medicine Technology by ARRT or NMTCB required.

- Computed Tomography (CT) by ARRT or NMTCB is mandatory.

- State Licensure:
Texas MRT by TMB required.

- BLS certification (AHA only) required.
