• Active RN license (state-appropriate) — ready for travel nurse credentialing
• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience in hospital L&D, LDRP, or birthing center
• Experience with couplet care and some NICU exposure; maternal-newborn competency
• Current certifications: BLS (AHA), NRP, and Fetal Monitoring (intermediate required; advanced preferred)
• Comfortable with night shifts and required weekend coverage
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-family centered care skills

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring mothers and newborns following AWHONN and hospital OB protocols
• Monitor fetal well-being and accurately interpret fetal monitoring strips (electronic fetal monitoring)
• Assist with vaginal deliveries, emergency deliveries, and postpartum care including couplet care
• Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, neonatology/NICU staff, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient care and assessments accurately in GE Centricity/Paragon EHR
• Participate in unit rotations and flex down based on census; support unit staffing as a travel L&D nurse
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and family-centered environment for mothers, infants, and families

• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,800–$1,890/week
