We are seeking a qualified Medical Surgical RN to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a high turnover environment and will be adept at managing a patient ratio of 1:6. You will be responsible for a range of duties, including starting IVs, inserting Foley catheters, and performing EKGs. This position requires competencies in a variety of nursing skills and a commitment to patient care.

• Manage patient care effectively for a ratio of 1:6.
• Start IVs, insert Foley catheters, and NG tubes as needed.
• Monitor patient conditions and administer medication as per protocols.
• Perform EKGs and manage heparin drips according to physician orders.
• Document all patient interactions in the EHR (Paragon).

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience with at least 1 completed travel assignment.
• Required certifications: NIH, ACLS, and BLS.
• Experience in a fast‑paced medical surgical environment is preferred.
