Full-time, varying shift.

A Phlebotomist who excels in this role performs routine laboratory tests in various sections of the laboratory.

Reports to the Director of Laboratory.

• Labels, processes and delivers specimens for testing.
• Collects blood specimens using age-appropriate techniques.
• Maintains equipment and medical supplies.
• Assists with coordinating and conducting blood drives, including interviewing and screening donors.

Applicants should hold an Associate’s Degree in Science (required). Additional requirements include:

• MLT/MT Certification from ASCP or AMT is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
