This role plays a key part in driving continuous improvement across the function.

The Lead manages a team of warehousing and logistics personnel and is accountable for their performance, output, and alignment with operational goals. What’s involved

Lead and support a high-performing warehousing and logistics team Ensure a safe, secure, and compliant working environment

Develop and enforce clear policies, procedures, and documented practices

Maintain team capability through training, development, and succession planning

Oversee all warehousing functions including receipt, storage, distribution, and equipment maintenance

Ensure goods are processed, inspected, and recorded accurately and in a timely manner

Deliver excellent customer service through timely order fulfilment and clear communication

Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives while managing operational risks

Operate a Just â In â Time Warehouse Management System You’ll need7+ years relevant Supply Chain, Warehousing and logistics experience within a shipbuilding/sustainment, engineering, manufacturing or Defence organisation

Strong understanding and working experience in a computerised ERP environment

Strong leader and coach, with excellent communication, interpersonal and people management skills

Strong customer focus
